The Congressional Art Competition is open to all high school students who reside in the 29th Congressional district. Initiated by Members of the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982, this event is a nationwide annual art competition that allows high school students from all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories to showcase their artistic ability.

The competition will culminate at a virtual reception where every participating student will have their artwork displayed. The winning piece of art from the 29th Congressional district will be displayed in an eleven-month exhibit in the Cannon tunnel that leads into the U.S. Capitol alongside winning artwork from other Congressional districts across the nation.

Due to the pandemic, all artwork must be digitally submitted via our Google Form (https://bit.ly/3gyVw0Y) by April 29, 2022. The digital form is super easy and can be completed within minutes.
