At our April 14, 2021 meeting we approved a grant for New Musicals to create a 7-12 minute film honoring a resident of North Hollywood, pairing them with a creative team to dramatize and musicalize events in their life. This series is focused on the ordinary person and how much we can learn from each other, to walk in someone else’s shoes and gain perspective, learning from someone else’s triumphs and failures. The grant goes to the honoree and the writers and artists associated with completing the production. Our grant was for $5,000.
