At our October 2022 Meeting we approved a Neighborhood Purposes Grant for Aminta Elementary EEC Hawks School for $3,445 to fund pads for shade structure poles in their outdoor playground to prevent injury to students in case they run into the pads while playing.

Also in this meeting PLUM Chair Laura Napoli and SOUP Chair Mel Futrell agreed to work with Starbucks at 6534 Laurel Canyon to provide recommendations on their development especially when it comes to how it impacts sustainability, street vendors, and the school on the other side of the street.
