Children playing at Hopewalk

This year the North Hollywood North East Neighborhood Council addressed issues of crime, reached out to stakeholders, made our voices known at City Hall and supported community projects.

We were excited to host and support three community events:

  • Our Crime in NoHo Town Hall brought together a Police Commissioner, Captain, Deputy Chief and our Councilman to hear about efforts to address crime in North Hollywood
  • Our Meet & Greet brought together our councilmembers and stakeholders in person
  • Hopewalk encouraged our youth with fun fitness activities

Meet & Greet

NHNENC is known for hearing from you on important topics and weighing in with our representatives. We voiced our opinion on nine Community Impact Statements and Letters on:

  • Clean air
  • Interim motel conversion
  • Healthy streets
  • Policing

We supported our community through Neighborhood Purpose Grants:

  • Support Hope of Valley Day Labor Community Garden
  • Arminta Elementary playground pole padding

We invite you to attend a meeting, join a committee, come to an event and run for a seat in our elections in June. Contact us at Board@NHNENC.org to let us know of your interest and find out more.
