North Hollywood North East Neighborhood Council was delighted to meet and greet stakeholders at the 2021 Winter Wonderland at the Whitsett Fields. Thank you to LAPD and Councilmember Krekorian for organizing this event.
Representing NHNENC were Outreach and Beautification Chair Maria Cermeno, who was joined by Secretary Zaid Diaz-Arias, Parliamentarian Veronica Jimenez, and our newly appointed board members: Laura Napoli, and Angelica Morgana. From 9am-2pm, we were out there handing out NHNE tote bags, pens, hats, lanyards, key chains, and other NC merch. We also handed out flyers promoting youth resources and flyers recruiting an Alternate Youth Member.
We additionally talked to many stakeholders, introduced our NC, and listened to any concerns or questions they had.
Special thanks to Sergeant Alonso Menchaca and Officer Sheri Herman from the LAPD North Hollywood with whom we worked to promote the event and our Neighborhood Council.
