Yard Trees
Did you know that the City has a program that allows you to get up to 7 shade trees for FREE delivered right to your door!? These trees are not street trees. They can be planted anywhere on your property except the parkway and are yours to maintain and look after. Trees have innumerable benefits from lower energy costs to improved health and increased home values.
The below chart shows we have about 23% tree canopy and we can increase it.
Parkway Trees
If you would like free trees for your parkway, the city has another program for that!
This grant-funded program can help you help your neighborhood. We can provide the trees, labor and materials for free. The only thing we need to have is permission from a resident or business to plant and a promise to water the new street trees.
