Youth Listening Session

senator’s upcoming youth listening session, where several youth speakers will be selected to talk at-length with the senator about housing insecurity, homelessness, policing, and prisons.
To apply to be a youth speaker, one can complete this form. Prior to the event, each applicant will be briefly interviewed and, pending approval from our team, will be allowed to ask substantive questions and offer thoughtful suggestions to Senator Hertzberg. Even if one isn’t a speaker, they can still listen in and learn about how state government can tackle issues that are top-of-mind for many young people. There will also be a Q&A session at the end of the event where anyone can submit a question to the senator.
