About the Project
The Sepulveda Transit Corridor Project will provide a high-quality transit service that will effectively serve a large and growing travel market between the San Fernando Valley and the Westside and eventually to LAX. With nearly half a million daily travelers in the corridor, the project area is one of Southern California’s most complex and challenging – and it will require an innovative approach. For transit to be a competitive travel option that attracts new riders, there is a need to increase the speed, frequency, capacity, and reliability of transit service, and provide convenient connections to existing and planned transit corridors.
