MLK Jr. Day of Service – Community Clean Up & Resource Fair

Join Us for our MLK Jr. Day of Service Clean Up & Resource Fair on 1/19!
Join us on Monday, January 19, 2026, for an inspiring MLK Jr. Day of Service at the Valley Plaza Recreation Center in North Hollywood (12240 Archwood St., behind the playground). The day begins at 7:45 a.m. with a light breakfast mixer and sign-in, followed by a welcome and community resource fair at 8:30 a.m. featuring an MLK Jr. legacy reading, interpretative spoken word, a Black Out Poetry activity, and a Buy Nothing NoHo gifting event. Volunteers can participate in community clean-up opportunities at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. All ages are welcome, volunteer hours will be validated, and all tools are provided, along with a free gift while supplies last.
