North Hollywood North East Neighborhood Council will hold elections on May 16 for half the seats:
- Resident Representatives (3 seats)
- Business Representatives (1 seat)
- At Large Community Stakeholders (3 seats)
- Community Based Organization Representative (1 seat)
Each seat has a four year term. See the last page of our NHNENC Approved Bylaws for specifics regarding age and qualifications.
Who can run?
If you are a North Hollywood North East Stakeholder, you can!
Stakeholders are defined as those who live, work or own real property in the neighborhood and also to those who declare a stake in the neighborhood as a community interest stakeholder, defined as a person who affirms a substantial and ongoing participation within the Neighborhood Council’s boundaries and who may be in a community organization such as, but not limited to, educational, non-profit and/or religious organizations.
Now is the time to consider running for a seat. We are excited to welcome prospective members to run for a seat. Candidates should have a passion for making a difference in North Hollywood North East, time to attend our monthly meetings and at least one committee meeting a month.
