DESCRIPTION:Winter Wonderland is the holiday party we look forward to all year in Council District 2. Every year\, Council President Krekorian partners with the LAPD to produce a Winter Wonderland event featuring food stalls\, a toy giveaway\, a visit from Santa Claus and other surprise guests\, and sledding on a slope of real snow! \nThis year’s event will be held in the late afternoon and early evening\, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. \nFrom 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday the 16th\, the Northbound side of Whitsett Avenue between Sherman Way and Vanowen will be closed to through traffic. There will be no parking on the East side of the street\, next to the park. \nSo leave your car across the street or around the corner and join us for an evening of family fun and celebration!
