The Project Site includes four parcels located generally north/east and west/south of Lankershim\nBoulevard. The Project would revitalize and expand transit facilities and include 1\,523\,528 square feet of\nresidential uses comprised of 1\,216 market rate units and 311 affordable residential units\, 105\,125 new square\nfeet of retail/restaurant uses\, and up to approximately 580\,374 new square feet of office space (inclusive of\n87\,300 square feet of parking\, which may be converted to office use in the future). In addition\, the Project would\nprovide 297\,925 square feet of open space located throughout the Project Site\, 87\,225 square feet of which\nwould be publicly accessible\, privately operated and maintained. The proposed uses would be located within\nseveral buildings on multiple blocks ranging in height from one to 28 stories. The proposed uses would be\nsupported by up to 3\,313 vehicle parking spaces and up to 1\,167 bicycle parking spaces. Up to 750 vehicle\nparking spaces for Metro uses\, which may be located on-site\, in the off-site Metro lots\, or some combination of\non-site and off-site\, as well as up to 166 Metro Bike Hub bicycle parking spaces\, would also be included on-site\nas part of the Project. These off-site Metro parking areas would be developed in support of the Project\, but\nwould be separately permitted by Metro.

DESCRIPTION:The City of Los Angeles and Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez present ¡EL GRITO!\, a benefit telethon to raise funds to support undocumented Angelenos impacted by COVID-19 and to kickoff Latino Heritage Month — featuring Los Tucanes de Tijuana and La Santa Cecilia.\n¡EL GRITO! is the celebration of Mexican Independence Day and the September Independence Days of Chile\, Costa Rica\, El Salvador\, Guatemala\, Honduras\, and Nicaragua. \nTraditionally held on the steps of City Hall\, this year’s ¡EL GRITO! will feature virtual musical performances to raise funds for Angelenos impacted by COVID-19. The telethon will also highlight Los Angeles’ vibrant Latino community as well as showcase the immense contributions Latinos have made to the City’s culture\, history\, and economy. \nThe music lineup features a diverse mix of sounds ranging from mariachi\, banda\, trio\, and norteño. During the program\, the City of L.A. will join the Consul General of Mexico in re-enacting the historic Cry of Dolores and ringing of the bell\, which commemorates the call to arms pronounced by Miguel Hidalgo in 1810 which launched the Mexican War for Independence. \nFunds raised to help support undocumented Angelenos impacted by COVID-19 via the L.A. based Comunidades Indígenas en Liderazgo (CIELO). \nMore: https://www.facebook.com/events/1303802766632218
