LA River Valley Greenway Community Meeting

LOS ANGELES – The Bureau of Engineering wants to hear from you about the LA River Valley Greenway Design Completion Project. During the meetings, Angelenos will have the opportunity to provide input on the project’s options and design concepts.

The LA River Valley Greenway project will provide nearly 13 miles of new bike and walking paths along the LA River in the San Fernando Valley to complement and connect already existing paths. The city provided three million dollars to the project through park funds from Councilmembers Krekorian, Blumenfield, Ryu and Martinez. These funds will help complete the project’s design and allow it to be shovel-ready for a contiguous bikeway and walkway along the river.
The project area encompasses San Fernando Valley from Vanalden Avenue to Forest Lawn Drive/Zoo Drive.
